Interprofessional collaboration between and among physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other clinical and administrative professionals is playing an increasingly important role in the future of healthcare delivery. CFAR has just published Lessons from the Field: Promising Interprofessional Collaboration Practices, a report commissioned by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The report is based on our work with RWJF to identify promising practices in interprofessional collaboration and to understand what is needed for them to thrive in healthcare.
