Starting this Fall, CFAR Principals Debbie Bing and Jessica Geiben Lynn will teach a family business management course at Northeastern University’s Center for Family Business, as adjunct faculty members in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business.

The class is designed for those considering a career in a family business or for those who may be planning to  consult or provide professional services to family businesses. Drawing on their experience as management consultants, and deep expertise in the world of family and owner-led business, Ms. Bing and Ms. Geiben Lynn will present a theoretical framework for understanding the unique nature of family business, supplemented with applied case work and guest speakers. They also will introduce tools that are applicable in the family business setting, including ways to manage and resolve conflict, develop strategy, and structure business and family governance.
